she. her. hers
As a therapist, I am dedicated to restoring balance and wholeness in my client’s lives. I use a collaborative approach that empowers my clients to connect with the source of strength and wisdom within themselves.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a dual masters in Divinity from Duke Divinity School and Social Work from UNC School of Social Work. This educational background allows me to approach therapy from a comprehensive, holistic lens and has given me deep respect for the unique spirituality of each individual. I have developed expertise in evidence-based practices including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level I of III) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients including those living with:
religious trauma
eating disorders
mood disorders
LGBTQI related issues
perinatal and postpartum support
loss
life transitions/identity issues
relationships or other significant life stressors.
I work with ages 18 and older.
